Late last night we were looking for another bar and decided to try Google Voice search.

Where are the bars bitches first turned into Mr and Mrs; the second time it came out as Handlebar Switches.

It wasn’t much use but we did find a new way to create rhyming phrases. 

Cadbury has been known for their unusual ad campaigns like the Cadbury Gorilla ad from late 2007, but I have to say that their new ad campaign has stepped it up.

I’d post a video of it here, but I can’t find it hosted anywhere that has embeds so you’ll have to check it out on The Sun’s article page to watch it.

It’s from the same production company as the Gorilla ad, Glass and a Half Full Productions.

Earlier today I received an email from a friend who lives in the Bay Area and who after hearing of a friend’s death in Norway put together a video remembering his accomplishments.

Her friend was a famous Norwegian mountain racer, but she wasn’t expecting the response she received.

Shortly after she posted the video on YouTube it was running on Norway’s main TV station, embedded in variety of local and European newspaper websites (one of the sites), and thank you notes from people she had never met started streaming in.

She wrote me to express her amazement and to thank YouTube for helping her connect to others.

While this story has a tragic start, it’s still fascinating to see how fast the world is flattening and it’s inspiring to be a part of a product that is so global. 

It’s the Star Wars trilogy told by someone who hasn’t actually seen the movies.

Attempting to read an article on The Motley Fool this morning I mistyped the URL and was pleasantly surprised by their 404 error page:

That’s “404: File not found” for the technically inclined. For the not-so-technically inclined, that means that the link you clicked, or the URL you typed into your browser, didn’t work for some reason. Here are some possible reasons why:

1. We have a “bad” link floating out there and you were unlucky enough to click it.
2. You may have typed the page address incorrectly.
3. This web server is going nutty.

The office can be fairly quiet during the holidays and occasionally people forget to remove themselves from calendar invites for meetings between Christmas and New Years.

I had a meeting like this last week… not wanting the time to go unused I still experimented and brainstormed.
