Imitated Snowflakes

I had a flashback while sending out my Christmas cards this weekend.
The post office’s new snowflake stamps look eerily similar to a few snowflake illustrations I created last year and started selling them on a stock photography site.
(To help show the similarities I placed my snowflakes on the same stamp template as the post office’s stamps.)
Always Six Sided
Snowflakes by their very nature are going to be analogous with one another.
I’ll be the first to admit that the snowflakes on the new stamps look better than mine, but given a whole year I could have made mine all 3D looking too. 
It’s just a little disconcerting to use stamps that look so similar to something I’ve created. However that uneasy feeling could also be from licking 50+ envelopes and drinking eggnog.
